Just got back from seeing the show again!(well, just woke up from the drive and was too sleepy to write last night.) It was incredible! Sarah Bermudez was exactly what I imagine Christine to be. Her voice was outstanding. Chris Warren Gilbert was an incredible phantom. Debbie Prutsman was extremely over the top and hilarious and everyone was cheering after her death. The theatre was beautiful in a outdoor setting. The orchestra was fantastic. The Sets and costumes couldn't have been better. And the audience's reactions were very funny. The people next to me (who I think they thought it was the ALW version when I was talking to them before the show) loved it. Chris and Sarah's voices really shined in the picnic scene. Sarah's voice flowing with beauty and emotion in my true love. Chris's My Mother Bore Me was heartbreaking. I couldn't help busting out in tears in the end. This performance just adds to my love of this version. My favorite version. (also, it was adorable when he gave her a rose at the end of You are Music. I wish I could find the picture of that part because I saw a picture of it on a board there.)
